The 2026-2027 William L. & Mary Ann Brown STEM Endowment Scholarship Program is a need-based scholarship established by William L. and Mary Ann Brown through UNCF to support students pursuing STEM fields (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) at HBCUs and four-year institutions.
Award Details: Need-based scholarship. Specific dollar amount determined by the fund.
Eligibility Requirements:
• Must be a senior graduating from a high school in Mecklenburg County, North Carolina.
• Must be enrolled or plan to enroll at a UNCF member institution, four-year HBCU, or another accredited four-year institution.
• Must demonstrate financial need.
• Must be pursuing a STEM-related field of study (sciences, technology, engineering, or mathematics).
