The National Black Nurses Association has officially launched the Eddie Bernice Johnson Health Equity Policy Scholars Institute. This groundbreaking program empowers Black nurses to lead in health policy and drive equitable change.

Supported by a $250,000 Pfizer Community Forward Health Equity Grant, this initiative prepares nurses to move beyond the bedside and into the spaces where healthcare decisions are made.

Named in honor of Eddie Bernice Johnson, the Institute continues a powerful legacy of leadership, advocacy, and impact.
