Depression Among Black College Women: Mediating Effect of Coping Styles

Nursing-led mediation analysis of 145 Black college women showing that avoidant and emotion-focused coping mediate the relationship between gendered racial microaggressions and depression. Findings position coping as a key intervention target for nurses supporting Black college women's mental health.
