BMJ Public Health has launched a Topic Collection on the Influence of Sex and Gender on Public Health and is seeking:
• Original research papers
• Systematic reviews
• Commentaries
Across a broad range of public health topics and from any geographic region.
Sex and gender influence exposure to risks, disease susceptibility, health behaviours and access to care. Yet sex- and gender-informed approaches are still not systematically embedded in public health research, policy or practice.
This collection aims to help address that gap and strengthen the evidence base for more equitable public health decision-making.
