2026 Health Equity Trends Summit

Invest in a Community-Centered Safety Net: Community Health Workers at the Core.

Community Health Workers (CHWs) are trusted frontline public health professionals who serve as a bridge between health and social services, and their neighbors. CHWs ensure language access and culturally appropriate care, and are a key part of the workforce that helps reduce social and racial inequities in health.

As resources dwindle and federal and state funding cuts threaten an already strained health system, their role becomes even more critical.

Join us at the 2026 Health Equity Trends Summit on June 2 for the panel “Invest in a Community-Centered Safety Net: Community Health Workers at the Core.” This conversation will explore how strengthening and investing in the CHW workforce can improve care access and quality, and build a more resilient health system.
